How to Add Estimated Delivery Date on Shopify Product Page

Add an estimated delivery date on Shopify product pages.

‍Adding an estimated delivery date section to your Shopify site can help set proper expectations with customers while increasing conversion rates. This Playbook will show you how to accomplish this manually without the having to use a third party app that can slow down your site speed.

*This Playbook only works on Shopify OS 2.0 themes and involves adding custom code to your site

Step 1: Online Store > Themes > Customize

Step 2: Create a New Product Template

Create a new product template so you have the flexibility to customize a new product page without impacting the original page.

Step 3: Add Block > Custom Liquid

Step 4: Add Below Code to Custom Liquid

Copy this code and past it into the Custom Liquid value.

By default, this code is setting an estimated delivery range between 5 and 10 days of purchase. If you’d like to change your range, you can simply change the “5” and “10” in the code!

Lastly, we recommend moving the block directly beneath the “buy it now” button so it’s clear and visible to the consumer.
